Terms of service.
These policies are designed to ensure clarity, professionalism, and a smooth experience for all clients.
Appointment & Document Policies
Clients must successfully complete identity verification and credential analysis required for remote online notarization. If identity verification cannot be completed, the notarization cannot proceed.
Once a remote notarization session has begun, administrative or platform fees may still apply and may not be refundable.
A notary public is required to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. If a document cannot legally be notarized, is incomplete, or the notary determines that the notarization cannot proceed in accordance with state law, the notarization may be refused.
Administrative or service fees may still apply for time spent reviewing documents or conducting the appointment.
Clients are responsible for ensuring documents are complete and ready for notarization prior to the appointment. Additional time required to review large document packages or correct incomplete documents may result in additional service fees.
Pricing estimates assume a standard document package. Appointments involving multiple documents or numerous notarial acts may require additional fees, which will be disclosed in the final invoice prior to the appointment.
Appointment Confirmation Policy
All appointments are reviewed prior to confirmation. A final price quote, including any applicable travel fees or additional services, will be provided before the appointment is confirmed.
Appointments are considered confirmed only after service details and pricing have been reviewed and approved, and payment has been made or arranged.
If a notarization cannot proceed due to technical issues, platform errors, or system failures beyond the client’s control, the appointment may be rescheduled or refunded at the discretion of the notary.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Clients may reschedule an appointment with at least 24 hours’ notice. Deposits for rescheduled appointments will be applied to the new appointment date.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment, or failure to appear, will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
If a notary has already traveled to the appointment location, applicable travel fees may still apply.
Payment Policy
A deposit is required to confirm all appointments. The deposit will be applied toward the total service fee.
For Remote Online Notarization and Loan Signing services, the remaining balance is due prior to the appointment.
For Mobile General Notary services, the remaining balance is due prior to the appointment or at the time of service is completed.
Accepted forms of payment include cash, card, and approved electronic payment methods.
Once a notarization or service has been completed, payment for the agreed services is required and is not subject to cancellation due to a client’s change of mind.
