General Notary Questions

A valid, government-issued photo ID is required for all notarizations. The name on the ID must match the name on the document.

Yes. Documents from other states may be notarized as long as the notarization complies with Washington State law and the signer is physically located in Washington at the time of notarization (or properly verified through RON).

No. We are not attorneys and cannot provide legal advice, select documents, or explain legal content. You must know which document you need prior to your appointment. However, we may assist with basic formatting, grammar corrections, or typing information that you provide and approve.

Some documents require one or more witnesses in addition to notarization. It is the client’s responsibility to confirm whether witnesses are required and to provide them at the time of the appointment.
Witnesses must be physically present, have valid identification, and meet any applicable legal requirements. We do not provide witnesses unless arranged in advance, and additional fees may apply.

In most cases, documents must be signed in the presence of the notary. Please do not sign your document in advance unless instructed to do so. If a document has already been signed, the notarization may not be valid and a new document may be required.

Final pricing may vary based on the number of notarizations, travel distance, printing, shipping, or additional services requested.

Yes. A deposit is required to confirm all appointments and is applied toward the total service fee.

Appointments may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may result in forfeiture of the deposit.
Mobile & Travel

Yes, mobile services are available for hospitals, nursing homes, and correctional facilities. Additional fees may apply.

Mobile services are available throughout Auburn, Federal Way, Kent, Milton, Renton, and surrounding areas within King County. RON services are available statewide within Washington.

Yes. Waiting time beyond 15 minutes may result in an additional fee. In certain circumstances, appointments may be canceled if the signer is not prepared or present within a reasonable timeframe.

Yes. Printing services are available upon request. Additional fees may apply based on the number of pages and printing requirements.

If you need your notarized documents mailed to a third party, such as a county recorder’s office, title company, court, employer, or other designated recipients, we can ship them on your behalf as a convenience service.
Documents are sent through USPS, and applicable shipping costs will be added to your final invoice. Tracking information will be provided once the package has been processed.
Please note that we facilitate the shipping process as a service to our clients. We are not affiliated with or acting on behalf of USPS, and delivery times are determined by the carrier.
